Nicholas Teo is the champion of a 2002 Malaysian television singing competition. The competition launched his career with his debut song ‘Who Will You Think Of’. Songs from the popular Smiling Pasta drama – ‘Tears from Polaris’ and ‘Little Turtle’ – have sparked countless moments of sweetness and heartbreak amongst television viewers. Teo has gone on to create hit songs such as ‘Prince’, ‘Mistake’, and ‘Because Of You’. As a contestant on season 3 of Call Me By Fire in 2023, Nicholas Teo (known as “Zhang Dong Liang”) challenged himself and pitched his talents in singing and dancing against seasoned professionals, showcasing stage performances that brought one surprise after another.
Over the span of more than 22 years, Nicholas Teo has not only continually pushed his own limits, but he has revealed different facets of himself as an actor. His first Cantonese single ‘Being Lonesome Together’ was released in 2023 and marks a significant milestone in his musical career.
